Concierto de Soul Asylum en Lima, Perú

Soul Asylum, la banda estadounidense de rock alternativo ganada del Grammy Award, tocarán el viernes 5 de diciembre 2008 en la Explanada del Estadio Monumental en el Lima, Perú.

David Pirner (vocalista y guitarra), Daniel Murphy (guitarra y voz), Michael Bland (batería y voz) y Tommy Stinson (bajo y voz) llegan como parte de la gira "The Silver Lining", nombre de su último material discográfico. Los interpretes de ‘Runaway Train’ y Misery’ han incluido Lima en un gira que recorre Estados Unidos.

Para este evento también se tendrá la presencia del grupo peruano Zen, fanáticos de la banda Americana y del buen rock.

Concierto de Panda en el Perú - 25 Julio 2008

El popular grupo mexicano de rock, Panda, que llega a Lima la próxima semana para ofrecer un concierto este 25 de julio en la explanada sur del Monumental a las 20:00 horas.

Canciones como "Promesas/Decepciones", "Cita en el Quirófano", "Si Supieras", "Buen Día" y "Muñeca", las cuales se desprenden de sus tres producciones musicales, “Arroz con Leche”, “La Revancha del Príncipe Charro” y “Para ti, con desprecio”, son las más coreadas en sus conciertos por Latinoamérica y USA.

Con ella, y disparando 900 veces por minuto, se ha grabado a la banda y al resto de personal que aparece. El resultado es impactante visulamente hablando.

El banda estadounidense de rock alternativo R.E.M. nos ha adelantado 30 segundos del tema "Supernatural Superserious" que forma parte del disco "Accelerate", primer álbum de estudio de R.E.M. después de su disco de 2004 Around the Sun y ha sido grabado en Vancouver (Canadá), en Dublín (Irlanda) y en la ciudad de Athens, en el estado norteamericano de Georgia, la pasada primavera, junto con el productor Jacknife Lee, que es conocido, entre otras cosas, por su trabajo con U2 (How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb).
